During the 4-day training, the attendees spent every morning in the classroom learning the step-by-step installation process for all of FSI’s foundation stabilization products. Midwest Basement Systems to Begin New Construction Helical Project
Posted by Dave in Dealer Updates on April 7, 2009
Midwest Basement Systems was recently awarded a project to install 66 new construction helical piles for a school renovation project in Leon, IA. The piles will be installed to support the new foundations as well as a structural slab. Helical piers were the perfect solution for this project because of limited access adjacent and within the existing building. The project also requires that a load test be conducted to verify the pile capacity and performance (settlement) under load. Tim Heady, owner of Midwest Basement Systems, recently hired a new employee, Mark Rasmusson, to manage his commercial foundation division. Mark’s engineering background and construction experience will be a great asset to Midwest Basement Systems on these types of projects.
